Was told that I need to remove some teeth to have them perfectly straight since I have slight overcrowding and overbite, but I don't like the idea of removing teeth permanently for aesthetics. I think it was about $4-5K about 5 years ago. I went with eClinger which was recommended by my dentist. From my understanding, it's mostly marketing and branding premium. Just go with the cheaper alternative instead of Invisalign. (so unlimited is safer imo) but i recommend u ask ur dentist for recommendations because they know best. when I went to other orthodontists they recommended me to extract at least 2 teeth- but the one i went with in the end was confident i didn’t need to extract if i went with invisalign (also idt many ppl talk about this but if u have similar overcrowding problems this means invisalign will change ur jaw shape abit to accommodate the straighter teeth if that makes sense)įound this link q helpful! also am mistaken but the unlimited package is not for life but 5 years! so for me i was initially issued 50 sets (7-10days per set) but after i completed a first round dentist wasn’t super satisfied so we went through the thing again and they issued more! -in the case of the limited sets would’ve had to top up for the additional sets. I had an overbite which and some overcrowding in lower jaw! hm i would say mine is a moderate ish case? dentist showed me other cases that were worse and some easier ones also haha. (a nightmare she wanted to avoid in the first place and it cost a bomb too)Īlso if you’re doing invisalign highly recommend u go for the unlimited package to ensure ure happy with ur results haha have also had friends that went with the limited one and ended up having to top up more money :/ with metal braces, they are still in charge of monitoring your progress and sending feedback to the hq! (mine also helped with some exercises to correct my habits haha) I’ve had friends that did invisalign and because her dentist was inexperienced her teeth didn’t align properly and had to switch to metal braces halfway then back to invisalign. Even though it’s technically manufactured by the company and your orthodontist doesn’t do the tightening etc. I’ve been on invisalign (happily) for about 2 years now, definitely no regrets:) Not as familiar with the other brands’ offering but would advice you to look into the dentist/ orthodontist that is responsible for your treatment. /r/SingaporePoly - Singapore Polytechnic./r/NTU - Nanyang Technological University./r/NUS - National University of Singapore./r/NationalServiceSG/ - For all NS matters and questions./r/AskSingapore - Got a question?
